Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Commissioner Beda A. Epres paid a courtesy visit to Police Regional Office XIII (PRO XIII), led by PBGEN Alan Nazaro.

The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation in integrating human rights principles into law enforcement practices. PBGEN Nazaro assured Commissioner Epres that PNP XIII is committed to upholding human rights standards throughout its operations.

In response, Commissioner Epres expressed gratitude for PRO XIII's warm reception and proactive approach to human rights issues.

This courtesy visit was part of the LAKARAN Caraga-leg, an initiative supported by #GOJUSTHR. #LaKarAn is a nationwide human rights caravan of CHR, made possible through the support of Governance in Justice - The Human Rights Component, a project led by CHR and co-funded by the European Union in the Philippines and AECID Philippines.
